Daphne attended Utah State University where she received a B.A. in Psychology. During her time at Utah State she competed all four years on the Track and Field team specializing in Long Jump. After graduating from Utah State, she moved to Athens, Georgia to obtain a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in May of 2016 from the University of Georgia. During her time in the Master’s program, Daphne started competing in weightlifting as a part of the Georgia Barbell club at Georgia Strength. She has competed in local as well as one national weightlifting competition (University Nationals 2017). Daphne is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Georgia where she plans to finish in December of 2019.
